The Story Behind Every Crêpe
Meet Chef Hicham Chehouani, the heart and soul of Crêpes de Luxe. Born in Morocco and trained in Nice, France, Chef Hicham brings authentic French technique and Mediterranean warmth to every dish.
After working as a chef on French cruise ships across Spain, Morocco, France, and Malta, Chef Hicham moved to the United States in 2000 with a dream: to share his love of authentic French crêpes with Iowa City.
In December 2009, that dream became reality. Today, Crêpes de Luxe is Iowa City's only crêperie and the #1 Dessert Spot on TripAdvisor.
